1st Saturday of the Month
This is a casual get together for musicians, poets, comics and actors and appreciators, where the fantastic acoustics of the Gemco Hall carry the unamplified instruments and voices to the thirsty ears of friends and family in a loving and relaxed atmosphere. And if you’re a mime, I’m sure the hall can do something great for you too.
Got the urge to push out an old classic? Perhaps you want to give that drama or music solo one final “hoorah!” before being released into the ether of ‘no more school’.. Perhaps you’d just like to sit back with a drink and dri… …take, it all in.
Entry is $6, and $3 for performers. Drinks are available for purchase. The night kicks off at 8pm. Call 5968 2844 to double check venue location.

Suzanne Frisk (local singing & piano teacher) runs an a cappella workshop open to anyone, with first in best dressed.
Anyone you talk to about these afternoons will tell you how wonderful it is to be immersed in the glorious sounds that many human voices can make in harmony. You don’t have to be a seasoned singer; you just have to be there. To be there, you’ll need to book by ringing the Gemco Hotline.
At $14 / $12 conc. per person including soup at the end, you’ll wonder why you ever contemplated spending the money on that hotted up scooter you’ve had your eye on!
